SimplyBook.me July Newsletter – Updates and new features

We hope this newsletter finds you well. As we enter the month of July, we would like to take a moment to highlight the exciting developments and updates that took place in June, as well as provide a glimpse into what you can expect in the coming month.

Recurring Payments for Membership Subscription

We are thrilled to announce that we have introduced a new feature that allows users to create memberships with recurring payments. Now, when your clients make a purchase, they will have the option to set up a recurring membership conveniently during the checkout process. This enhancement ensures that the client is well aware of the recurring nature of their membership. Furthermore, we have made it easier for clients to manage their memberships by providing a simple cancellation option within their own account. This improvement will undoubtedly be appreciated by both you and your clients, streamlining the membership experience.

SBPay.me Custom Payment Gateways

Our integrated payment solution, SBPay.me, has been enhanced to allow the integration of any 3rd party payment processor. This means that if you are currently using a local or lesser-known payment provider with a reliable API, you can now seamlessly integrate it into the SimplyBook.me platform. While this integration requires programming expertise, we have provided detailed instructions on how to add new payment processors to our appointment booking solution. You can find these instructions on our GitHub page and the SBPay.me API documentation. Additionally, for more advanced users, we have a dedicated API channel where you can ask any questions you may have.

and for serious users we have a specific API channel where questions can be asked.

Coming Up

Some of the upcoming things are still in developments and most of them will be launched in the following weeks and months. Still upcoming are standalone Products for sales, Boost Marketing, Quickbooks & Freshbooks native integrations and more. Quickbooks is in final testing and will allow users to easily import all sales done in SBPay (SimplyBook.me) into their Quickbooks account.

Also coming up in July is printing receipts/invoices directly from the SimplyBook.me admin app to WiFi and bluetooth thermal printers making selling an even better experience from the app.
