We are thrilled to share with you some fantastic December updates that have been rolled out over the last month. Our team has been working tirelessly to enhance your experience and we can’t wait for you to try these new features. Let’s dive in!

Tap to Pay with Stripe on Android Devices

Embracing the future of payments, we’ve integrated ‘Tap to Pay’ for Stripe on all compatible Android devices DIRECTLY VIA OUR ADMIN APP. Although it’s in beta in many countries, it’s available globally (maybe not everywhere, but in a lot of countries – see below!). Check with Stripe to see if it’s compatible with your account and location. This feature eliminates the need for a physical payment terminal, making transactions as simple as a tap. Additionally, once a payment is processed, you can instantly print out invoices or receipts on your thermal printer.

It is also available on our iOS admin app, though support extends to fewer countries.

Enhanced Discount Application on Packages

You asked, and we listened! Applying discounts to package purchases was a much-requested feature, and we’re excited to announce that it’s now possible. You can now apply coupons and gift cards to a variety of items during the checkout process, including bookings, memberships, products, service add-ons, and packages.

Enhanced Product Sales and Payment Redesign

We’ve made a significant leap in how you can sell products through SimplyBook.me. Previously, you could only purchase products during the booking checkout process. But now, you have the ability to sell products independently from bookings! This flexibility is complemented by a revamped payment step, specially tailored to streamline the selling of products. Whether it’s merchandise, additional services, packages, gift cards or anything else, selling through SimplyBook.me has never been easier or more efficient.

Improved Client Import Functionality

Our client import function has received a significant upgrade. Now, you can import a wider range of client field types, including check-boxes and selections. This enhancement accurately reflects your custom client fields on client cards, ensuring smoother and more comprehensive client management than ever.

Introducing AI-Powered Search in the Admin Interface

Navigating the admin interface just got a whole lot smarter with our new AI search bar! This intelligent tool can answer most of your questions with impressive accuracy. Need help? The AI search bar will guide you with links to helpful videos, articles, and direct you to specific functions within the system. We encourage everyone to give this amazing feature a try – it’s like having a personal assistant at your fingertips!

Enhanced Sync with External Accounting Systems

For those using SimplyBook.me payments (SBPay.me), we’ve added some powerful new capabilities. You can now re-sync transactions with your external accounting systems and even select specific periods for re-syncing. Plus, monitoring your sync status is now more straightforward, providing you with better control and insight into your financial data.
